Rajosik Bihar, Monument sculpture at Kazi Nazrul Islam Avenue, Dhaka, Bangladesh.

Rajosik Bihar is a golden sculpture on Kazi Nazrul Islam Avenue in Dhaka showing a four-wheeled carriage drawn by two horses, carrying Nawab Salimullah, his family members, and guards. The work sits at the Sheraton Hotel junction and includes multiple figures that bring a historical scene to life.

The work was created by artist Mrinal Haque and unveiled in January 2008 to mark 400 years since Dhaka's founding. It was part of a city beautification project that aimed to modernize the city while honoring its past.

The sculpture shows how wealthy Nawab and Zamindar families moved through the city, with details like an armed guard and lantern beside the carriage that reflect their daily transportation needs.

The sculpture is located at the corner of Kazi Nazrul Islam Avenue and Mintu Road in the Paribagh area and is easy to spot at the Sheraton Hotel intersection. It is visible from the street and accessible from several angles, allowing visitors to view the work from different perspectives.

The work includes precise details like an armed guard holding a rifle and a hanging lantern that authentically show how this noble class traveled in earlier times. These careful depictions of everyday objects offer a glimpse into what daily life actually looked like for these families.
