E-Commerce Place features two connected towers of 27 and 17 floors with a glass-enclosed common area between them on René-Lévesque Boulevard West.
The Quebec government initiated this development in 2000 as part of a program to strengthen the information technology sector through tax incentives and employment opportunities.
The building complex represents Montreal's transition into digital commerce, housing major technology companies and financial institutions in its modern office spaces.

Power Corporation subsidiaries purchased both towers of E-Commerce Place in December 2016 for 387.5 million Canadian dollars.
