International Street

International Street runs from the main park entrance to Wonder Mountain, serving as the central pathway through the amusement park. Along the way, visitors find a central fountain, restaurants, shops, and the International Showplace amphitheater.

The street was designed as the centerpiece of Canada's first major theme park when it opened in 1981. Its layout followed the successful design approach used in similar parks operated by the parent company.

The buildings here display architectural styles from the Alps, Scandinavia, Latin America, and Mediterranean regions, creating distinct shopping zones that reflect these global influences. Visitors moving through these areas experience the different regional character embedded in each section's design.

Use this route to quickly reach guest services and stroller rental options when you arrive. With restaurants and shops distributed throughout, you can easily find food and souvenirs while walking through.

A large flowerbed with around 11,000 begonias forms the Canadian flag at the entrance. During Halloween season, this same display transforms into a cemetery-themed design.
