Our Lady of Victories Cathedral, Yaoundé

Our Lady of Victories Cathedral in Yaoundé is a large Catholic church with a cross-shaped floor plan designed to hold about five thousand people. The interior displays religious artwork, stained glass windows, and various sacred symbols throughout the walls and ceilings.

The building was completed in 1952 and consecrated in 1955, marking an important moment for the Catholic Church in Cameroon following colonial rule. It was established as the central shrine of the Yaoundé Archdiocese and has remained a religious center of the city since then.
