The Summit, Residential skyscraper in Mid-Levels, Hong Kong.

The Summit is a 220-metre residential skyscraper of 65 storeys on Stubbs Road in upper Mid-Levels, on Hong Kong Island. It contains 54 duplex flats, in standard and connected layouts of 2,390 and 4,771 square feet. It stands directly beside Highcliff, designed by the same architects, DLN.

Construction of The Summit began in 1999 and the tower opened in 2001, with DLN Architects as the designer. It was built as a residential skyscraper of 65 storeys and 220 metres in upper Mid-Levels, next to the similarly tall, thin Highcliff. The whole building was held by Hang Lung Properties as a long-term rental investment, and its flats were let rather than sold for years; in February 2025 a duplex on floors 47 and 48 sold for HK$162 million, the first unit the company sold in the tower.

The Summit and Highcliff, designed by the same architect, stand side by side and are nicknamed "The Chopsticks" for their thin, parallel profiles. The name is used in everyday conversation about the Mid-Levels skyline. The Summit itself is entirely owned by Hang Lung Properties and, unusually for the district, was kept as a rental property for years.

The tower is located in the accessible Mid-Levels area served by public transportation. As a private residential building, access to common areas may be limited to residents and their guests.

The building features an exceptionally narrow profile that represents a clever architectural response to Hong Kong's limited buildable land. This slender vertical form is a defining characteristic frequently observed in structures built in this densely developed city.
