Wong Nai Chung Public Library, Public library in Wan Chai District, Hong Kong.

Wong Nai Chung Public Library occupies the third floor of the Municipal Services Building in Wan Chai and offers book collections and learning resources to visitors. The space is organized to give people easy access to materials and services in a straightforward layout.

The Wan Chai District Council asked for a library in Happy Valley, and in May 1989 the Urban Council's libraries committee planned a 500 m² branch inside the proposed Wong Nai Chung Municipal Services Building. The building was designed by the Architectural Services Department in 1992 and built by Japan's Kokusai Kogyo; the library opened on 25 September 1996 with about 25,000 books. Management passed to the Leisure and Cultural Services Department on 1 January 2000.

The library opened on 25 September 1996 with about 25,000 books and is managed by the Leisure and Cultural Services Department. It closes on Thursdays. Its name comes from Wong Nai Chung, the old name for Happy Valley, where the Municipal Services Building also houses a market and sports centre.

The building's cooked food centre on the second floor shut on 28 September 2026 for renovation, with completion expected in December.
