Tianmen Mountain, Mountain summit in Zhangjiajie, China.

The 1,519-meter mountain features a natural arch called Tianmen Cave, measuring 131.5 meters in height and 50 meters in width at its opening point.

The mountain gained global recognition in 2009 when international BASE jumpers performed aerial demonstrations through the natural Tianmen cave formation.

Local Buddhist temples and meditation spaces on the mountain demonstrate the strong connection between spiritual practices and natural landscapes in Chinese traditions.

Visitors reach the summit via a 7,455-meter cable car system from Zhangjiajie city, followed by 999 steps or an internal elevator to the cave.

The mountain features a glass walkway constructed at 1,430 meters elevation, extending 60 meters along the cliff face for pedestrian access.
