Hong Kong Garden, Private housing estate in Tsing Lung Tau, Hong Kong.
Hong Kong Garden is a housing estate comprising 28 residential buildings ranging from 19 to 30 stories high, containing approximately 2,830 units distributed across three development phases. The layout includes multiple amenities such as sports courts, swimming pools, and green spaces throughout the complex.
The estate was developed by Chinachem Group and first opened to residents in June 1986, marking a turning point in residential development for the Tsuen Wan area. This project introduced a new approach to housing design and community planning in the district.
The estate functions as a social hub for residents, with shared outdoor spaces and gardens where neighbors gather and spend time together. These common areas have become central to daily life here, transforming the place into a genuine community.
The estate is located along Castle Peak Road and benefits from good public transportation connections, making daily commuting straightforward for residents. Visitors should note that access to certain areas may be limited, so it's best to explore the publicly available spaces and exterior grounds.
The complex was intentionally designed with buildings of varying heights, creating an interesting skyline and giving each section its own character rather than a uniform appearance. This variation allowed the developer to accommodate more residents while keeping each phase visually distinct.
