Sha Tin College, Hong Kong secondary school
Sha Tin College is an international secondary school in Hong Kong serving students from approximately 11 to 18 years old. The campus includes modern facilities such as art and music rooms, science laboratories, a library, and a large hall for events, alongside sports facilities with indoor pools, gymnasiums, climbing walls, and outdoor courts.
The school was founded in 1982 and was originally called Shatin Annexe at a different location in Hong Kong. It relocated to its current location in Fo Tan in 1985 and took its present name.
The school draws its name from Sha Tin, the district where it stands and which is known for its vibrant community. Students from many countries create an international environment where different cultures and viewpoints are woven into daily school life.
The school offers a bus service covering many areas of Hong Kong, making the commute convenient for students. The school day starts early in the morning and ends in the afternoon, leaving time afterward for activities or homework.
The campus has served as a filming location for television shows and movies, including the well-known production Fight Back to School. The modern buildings and well-maintained grounds provided an attractive backdrop for filmmakers.
