Xibianmen City Wall Relics Park

Xibianmen City Wall Relics Park preserves sections of Beijing's ancient fortification system, including stone walls, architectural elements, and structures from imperial times. Information panels explain the construction methods and the original height and thickness of these fortifications.

This segment was built during the Ming Dynasty and served as an important western gate for trade and military defense of Beijing. The fortification shows how China protected its borders and city entrances over many centuries.
