The White Cloud Temple features traditional Chinese architecture with multiple halls, courtyards, and gardens spread across three hundred meters of grounds.
Founded in 739 during the Tang Dynasty, the temple became the headquarters of the Quanzhen School of Taoism under Master Qiu Chuji in the 13th century.
The temple maintains its position as the primary institution of Quanzhen Taoism, hosting religious ceremonies and educational programs throughout the year.
Visitors can explore the temple grounds daily from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, with entrance tickets priced at 10 yuan per person.
The temple contains a stone monkey statue that visitors touch for good fortune, following a traditional Beijing custom.
