The building served as the final home of Yan Fu, a Qing Dynasty scholar who translated Evolution and Ethics into Chinese in 1898.
The residence contains exhibition halls displaying photographs, documents, and artifacts that illustrate Yan Fu's contributions to Chinese intellectual development.
Visitors can explore the residence through guided tours that explain the building's architecture and Yan Fu's role in modernizing Chinese education.
The last will of Yan Fu remains preserved in the upper floor of the residence, where he wrote about valuing peaceful life over material wealth.
