Bleiberger Fabrik, Cultural center in western Aachen, Germany
The Bleiberger Fabrik contains dedicated spaces for art workshops, movement activities, seminars, and conferences, with separate studios for children and adults.
Built in 1881 as an oil spinning factory for Detilleux company, the building later housed various craft businesses including the Jos Beduwe fire engine factory until 1936.
Since 1980, this former industrial building functions as an educational center offering creative programs, dance classes, drawing workshops, and modeling courses.
The center maintains two specialized art studios, numerous workshop spaces, and meeting rooms that accommodate both educational activities and community gatherings.
The Youth Art School within Bleiberger Fabrik has welcomed over 70,000 young participants through its creative workshop weeks program since its inception in 1965.
