Depot Immermannstraße, Motive power depot and architectural heritage monument in Dortmund, Germany

The Depot Immermannstraße features a neoclassical brick facade spanning 87 meters in length and 89 meters in depth, with a central hall displaying steel truss construction.

Built between 1915 and 1916 by architects Karl Pinno and Philipp Bachmann, the depot operated as a central workshop for Dortmund's tram system until 1996.

The building transformed into a cultural center in 2001, providing space for architects, designers, educators, photographers, graphic artists, and performing artists to work and collaborate.

The facility hosts regular markets, exhibitions, performances, and workshops, serving as a venue for events like Extraschicht and the Mord am Hellweg literary festival.

The renovation project received 6.5 million Deutsche Marks from North Rhine-Westphalia's government, with depot members contributing 550,000 Deutsche Marks through personal efforts.
