St. Foillan Church, Gothic parish church in Aachen, Germany.
The St. Foillan Church features a three-nave structure with a prominent altar made of blue stone and a large bronze crucifix from 1962.
Built around 1180 and consecrated in 1482, the church underwent major reconstruction from 1956 to 1958 following substantial damage during World War II.
The Madonna sculpture from 1410 displays characteristics of the Beautiful style period through its refined forms and detailed craftsmanship.
Located in the pedestrian zone at Ursulinerstr. 1, the church maintains regular service schedules and welcomes visitors throughout the week.
The reliefs surrounding the main altar present 32 different scenes from the Salvation story, creating a visual narrative for worshippers.
