Theater Trier is the municipal opera house and theatre of Trier, with a main auditorium that seats around 600 people. The building also has a smaller stage used for more intimate productions alongside the main hall.
The theater was founded in 1802 in a former Capuchin monastery chosen by Napoleon for this purpose. It was destroyed in a bombing raid in 1944 and later rebuilt on the same site.
