Aiguillette du Lauzet is a limestone peak in the Cerces massif reaching 2717 meters. The mountain offers several climbing routes and via ferrata paths suited to different skill levels.
The peak was first climbed during World War II when monks Davin and Blanc conquered the southwest face. Their route remains known as the Davin Route.
The mountain serves as a meeting point for regional climbing communities who regularly gather to practice different climbing styles and techniques.
The climb starts from Pont de l'Alpe parking area where marked trails lead to various ascent routes. The terrain is suitable for climbers of different abilities and clearly marked throughout.
The limestone tower contains eight distinct climbing pitches equipped with safety bolts for protection. At the summit, visitors encounter a cross and often spot alpine ibex in the surrounding area.
