Brnaze, Settlement in Split-Dalmatia County, Croatia.
Brnaze is a residential settlement in Split-Dalmatia County, situated near the municipality of Sinj in central Dalmatia. The area sits between the coastal region and inland terrain, making it a transitional zone in the local geography.
The settlement experienced administrative changes during the 1990s when territorial boundaries in the region were redrawn. Part of the area was separated and incorporated into the nearby municipality of Sinj following these reorganizations.
The population of 3,124 residents contributes to local traditions and participates in the annual Sinjska alka tournament celebrations.
The settlement lies near the main D1 highway, which provides straightforward connections to coastal cities and inland areas. This location makes it easy to travel in both directions to different attractions in the region.
Former resident Anđelko Vučković achieved recognition by winning the traditional knights' tournament Sinjska alka five separate times.
