Saint Catherine of Alexandria Church, Tabán

Saint Catherine of Alexandria Church is a Baroque parish church in central Budapest with a single nave and distinctive tower. The building features external sculptures and traditional religious architecture that characterizes this historic downtown area.

The church was built between 1728 and 1777 after the original chapel was destroyed during the 1686 Siege of Buda. The structure survived a major fire in the early 19th century, which led to significant restoration work.
