Dwyer–McAllister Cottage, National monument cottage in Donard, Ireland.
The Dwyer-McAllister Cottage stands on the northeast face of Keadeen Mountain, near a stream flowing into the Little Slaney River in County Wicklow.
Built around 1780, the cottage became a site of conflict in 1799 when Michael Dwyer and his comrades faced British forces during the aftermath of the 1798 Rebellion.
The three-room cottage displays traditional Irish objects including a roasting spit and churn, representing rural life in eighteenth-century Ireland.
Visitors can explore the cottage from July through September between 14:00 and 18:00, with free admission and a recommended visit duration of 30 minutes.
The cottage features whitewashed walls, earthen floors, exposed roof timbers, and replacement pivot timber windows within its three interconnected rooms.
