Tel Aviv

Tel Aviv extends along the Mediterranean coast with sandy beaches, contemporary buildings, and residential neighborhoods spanning from Jaffa to the Yarkon River.

The city originated in 1909 when sixty Jewish families established a neighborhood outside ancient Jaffa, marking the start of the first modern Hebrew city.

The municipal transport network includes 24-hour buses, bicycle lanes, and electric scooters, connecting all districts from the beach to the eastern business center.

Gordon Swimming Pool, built in 1956 on the Mediterranean shore, remains the only seawater swimming facility in Israel with Olympic dimensions.
