Sdot Micha, Agricultural moshav in Mateh Yehuda Regional Council, Israel.

Sdot Micha is an agricultural settlement in Mateh Yehuda Regional Council, located on elevated terrain about 200 meters above sea level in central Israel. The community sits near Beit Shemesh amid rolling farmland that makes up the surrounding landscape.

The settlement was founded in 1955 as part of Israel's agricultural settlement initiative during the mid-twentieth century. Its founders were immigrants from Morocco who chose to establish their community here.

The settlement carries the name of Micha Josef Berdyczewski and functions within the Moshavim Movement, promoting cooperative agricultural practices among its residents.

The settlement sits in hilly terrain, so sturdy paths and good shoes are important when exploring the area. Keep in mind that this is a small private community, so many areas are restricted to residents only.

The settlement sits very close to a military airbase that serves as a strategic defense installation. This proximity has shaped the community's development and daily life throughout its history.
