Arugot Stream

Arugot Stream is a nature reserve and wadi flowing through a canyon with steep rock walls in the Ein Gedi region. Along its course, the water forms natural pools and cascades as it cuts through the desert terrain.

Archaeological evidence shows that humans inhabited the Ein Gedi region continuously from the Chalcolithic period, roughly 4000 years ago. The area has served as a vital source of water and sustenance for communities throughout these millennia.
