Nowy Dom Polski, Jerusalem, Female monastery and pilgrim house in Mea Shearim, Jerusalem.

Nowy Dom Polski is a stone building with 23 rooms of various sizes arranged across multiple floors for different types of accommodation. The rooms range from single occupancy to quad occupancy to serve different visitor needs.

The Elisabeth Sisters began construction in 1934 and received financial support from Polish soldiers of the Carpathian Rifle Brigade during World War II. The building endured significant damage through regional conflicts but was restored afterward.

The convent maintains Polish Catholic traditions in its daily practice and operates under the Latin Patriarchate of Jerusalem's oversight. This Polish connection shapes how the house functions and welcomes visitors from that heritage.

The house provides full board services and features a chapel along with a lecture hall that accommodates about 50 people. Payment is accepted in cash only.

After the 1948 war, the Sisters were forced to evacuate for two years and returned to find the property heavily damaged. This experience remains part of the house's story and how it has endured in the neighborhood.
