Haldighati

Haldighati is a mountain pass cutting through the Aravalli range that links two districts while displaying distinctive yellow-tinted soil throughout the landscape. The terrain features steep approaches, commemorative structures, and a memorial complex that documents the events that took place here.

In 1576 a regional ruler clashed with invading forces at this location in a battle that shaped regional history for generations. This confrontation became a defining moment in the struggle for local independence and control.
