Pala Ganesh Temple

Pala Ganesh Temple is a Hindu shrine in Gulab Bagh with a central sanctuary housing a statue of Lord Ganesh at its heart. The site includes a spacious courtyard and two ceremonial entry gates known as Riddhi Pole and Siddhi Pole.

This shrine was built roughly 500 years ago and stands as one of the earliest Ganesh worship sites in the Udaipur district. Its long history shows the deep religious importance of this place for the local community in Rajasthan.

The temple serves as a significant center for Ganesh devotion, drawing many worshippers especially during the Ganesh Chaturthi festival. You can observe people praying, making offerings, and performing traditional rituals around the deity's image.

The shrine is roughly a kilometer from Surajpole city center and accessible to most visitors. Keep in mind this is an active place of worship, so dressing modestly and moving quietly around the grounds helps you blend in respectfully.

The shrine has specially designed paths for the parikrama practice, a traditional ritual where devotees walk around the sanctuary keeping it to their right. This practice shows how the space itself is shaped to support the worship habits of those who come here.
