Father Muller Medical College is a private medical institution in Kankanady, Mangaluru, run by the Diocese of Mangalore. The institution traces its roots to 1880, when German priest Father Augustus Muller founded a hospital and began dispensing homeopathic medicines under a large Banyan tree. The medical college opened in 1991, growing out of a nursing school that had been training healthcare workers for decades before that.
