Description
The Lakshminarasimha Temple is a Hindu temple with three sanctuaries connected by a central hall divided into nine sections by four stone pillars. The structure uses chloritic schist stone throughout and features five decorative projections on each side of the central shrine.
History
Three brothers named Peddanna Heggade, Sovanna, and Kesanna built this temple in the 1230s. The structure reflects the distinctive Vesara style of Hoysala architecture from that era.

The temple walls show detailed stone carvings depicting Hindu deities and scenes from sacred texts. Visitors can see how these carved images remain central to local worship practices today.
