Subhash Bridge, Road bridge in Ahmedabad, India
The Subhash Bridge spans the Sabarmati River with a length of 1.5 kilometers, connecting eastern and western sections of Ahmedabad through multiple traffic lanes.
Built in 1973 and named after independence leader Subhas Chandra Bose, the bridge underwent substantial repairs in 2019 after serving the city for five decades.
The bridge location holds significance due to its proximity to Gandhi Ashram, situated just 1.5 kilometers away, where traditional Khadi products remain available.
Located 7 kilometers from the City Railway Station and 16 kilometers from the airport, the bridge provides essential access to more than 80 residential societies.
The structure stands between a railway line on the western side and the Sabarmati River on the eastern side, forming a distinct geographical boundary in the city.
