Seibu Tamagawa Line, Railway line in western Tokyo, Japan
The Seibu Tamagawa Line extends for 8.0 kilometers through western Tokyo suburbs, connecting Musashi-Sakai Station to Koremasa Station along the Tama River.
The railway line commenced operations on October 22, 1917, starting with the section between Musashi-Sakai and Kita-Tama Station before extending to Koremasa in 1922.
The line provides access to the Tokyo University of Foreign Studies and multiple traditional cemeteries, including the expansive Tama Cemetery.
Single-track operations require trains to pass each other at double-tracked stations, with services exclusively operated by New 101 Series trains.
While separated from other Seibu Railway lines, this route maintains a maintenance interconnection near Musashi-Sakai station for technical purposes.
