Seiryū-ji

Seiryū-ji is a Buddhist temple in Aomori featuring a main hall constructed from cypress wood that houses Buddhist statues and religious paintings. Religious artworks line the corridors and chambers, creating spaces filled with devotional imagery.

The temple was founded in 1982 by Buddhist master Ryūkō Oda and soon became an important religious center in northeastern Japan. Its connection to Kōyasan Buddhism helped establish its role in the region.
