Aomori Civic Hall

Aomori Civic Hall is a performance venue in Yanakawa that houses multiple spaces designed for different purposes. The facility includes rehearsal rooms, traditional Japanese-style spaces, and conference areas to accommodate various types of events.

The venue opened in September 2001 to serve as a central performance space for the region. It was created to address the cultural needs and provide a dedicated space for artistic activities in the area.

The venue is located about three minutes walking distance from JR Aomori Station, making it easily accessible. An underground parking garage with 34 spaces is available, and the facility operates daily from 9:00 AM to 10:00 PM.

The main stage features an open design with sound-reflecting panels that create good acoustics for different types of performances. A concert grand piano is permanently installed for musical events.
