Aomori City Hall, Administrative center in central Aomori, Japan
The three-story steel-framed government building spans 6,905 square meters and includes one basement level and a tower structure.
Construction of the current Aomori City Hall began in January 2018 and reached completion in October 2019, replacing an aging previous structure.
The city hall organizes local education programs, international exchange activities, and community lectures focusing on regional traditions.
The main building houses administrative offices at Central 1-chome, while the station branch office provides citizen services at Auga commercial complex.
The initial plans for a ten-story building were modified to create a three-story structure that opened for public service in January 2020.
