Mount Atago, Sacred mountain in Ukyō-ku, Japan.

The mountain gained recognition as part of the 300 Famous Japanese Mountains and 100 Famous Kansai Mountains, establishing its position in Japanese geographic heritage.
The annual Sennichi Mairi pilgrimage takes place from July 31 to August 1, when people climb the mountain to receive protection from fire-related incidents.
