Bohyeonsan

Bohyeonsan is a summit in the Taebaek range where multiple trails wind through dense forests and rocky terrain to reach the peak. Each route reveals different vegetation zones and viewpoints as you climb higher.

Korean shamans performed traditional rituals on Bohyeonsan, maintaining connections with mountain spirits according to ancient beliefs.

Spring and autumn offer the best hiking conditions with marked trails and rest areas throughout the climb. Bring sturdy footwear and plenty of water, as some sections are steep and exposed.

The mountain contains numerous plant species native to the Korean peninsula, including rare medicinal herbs used in traditional medicine.
