Travelers reach the province through Donoi Airport, which operates regular flights connecting to Ulaanbaatar, while internal transportation relies on unpaved seasonal roads.

The Otgon Tenger Protected Area contains the highest peak in the province, where temperatures can drop to -52.9°C and snow falls even during summer months.
