Praia Santa Eulália

Praia Santa Eulália is a beach in eastern Albufeira with a wide expanse of golden sand bordered by ochre cliffs covered in pine trees. Gardens with palm trees and exotic plants line the shore, creating a transition between the natural landscape and developed areas.

The shoreline took its present shape over centuries through coastal erosion, which created the distinctive rock formations visible today. The layering of the cliffs reveals different phases of this geological process.

The beach serves as a gathering place where visitors encounter the rhythm of coastal life and taste fresh seafood prepared in traditional ways. Local restaurants here focus on simple grilled fish and shellfish, keeping alive the customs that have defined this area for generations.

During low tide, the beach expands considerably and reveals additional sandy areas and natural shallow pools perfect for exploration. This tidal change allows visitors to discover sections that normally remain underwater.
