Saint Parascheva Church, Iași, Orthodox church in Păcurari district, Iași, Romania
The church features a rectangular nave, arched altar design, and a prism-shaped bell tower with four curtained windows on the stone foundation.
Built between 1852 and 1858, the church replaced a wooden structure from 1730 dedicated to Archangels Michael and Gabriel at the same location.
The church houses valuable religious artifacts, including two Gospel Books from Neamț Monastery and silver communion boxes from the 19th century.
Located at 6 Păcurari Street near the Central University Library, the church underwent extensive renovations after damage during World War II.
Archaeological findings reveal remnants of an earlier church from the reign of Vasile Lupu, with the old altar marked by a cross outside current structure.
