The University House of Iași is a public building constructed in Neo-Romanian style with detailed facades. The structure houses two museums stacked inside: the Academic Museum and the Cucuteni Museum, each occupying separate floors.
Construction of the building started around 1800 and marked an important period of educational growth in Moldavia. The structure was established during a time when higher learning was gaining importance in the region.
