World of Turkmenbashi Tales

The amusement park stretches across 100 acres with 80 attractions, including rides, performances, and themed areas based on regional stories.

The park opened in 2006 under President Saparmurat Niyazov's administration with an investment of 50 million dollars to create a Turkmen version of Disneyland.

The park features attractions inspired by Turkmen folk tales, including characters like Khudoiberdy and Bovendjik, alongside traditional jewelry and carpet designs.

The central location in Ashgabat makes the park accessible by taxi, with recent renovations in 2024 adding modern carousels and a 20-meter dancing fountain.

A roller coaster runs over a miniature Caspian Sea while concrete sculptures of animals, including a T-rex and giant rabbits, populate the grounds.
