Monument to the Constitution

The Monument to the Constitution is a 185-meter structure featuring modern architectural design and decorative marble surfaces along Archabil Avenue. The complex includes a museum, conference room, library, gift shop, and restaurant within its grounds.

This structure was built between 2008 and 2011 by Turkish construction company Polimeks. It was created to commemorate the 20th anniversary of Turkmenistan's constitution.

The monument serves as a gathering place for national celebrations and official events, reflecting traditional Turkmen design principles. Local people use the surrounding area as a meeting point and landmark in the city's public life.

Visiting is best done during daytime to see the marble details and enjoy views from the observation points. Check access conditions in advance, as the complex is sometimes used for official ceremonies.

The building ranks as the second-tallest in Turkmenistan and offers observation decks where visitors can gaze across the entire capital. These panoramic views allow one to understand the city's layout from a vantage point few buildings provide.
