Mount Davraz, Mountain summit in Isparta Province, Turkey
Mount Davraz is a summit in the Taurus Mountains rising to 2,637 meters with steep slopes and numerous ski runs across its terrain. Lodging and facilities are located at the base around 1,650 meters, serving winter visitors to the area.
The mountain was traditionally used for shepherding and pastoral activities until winter sports facilities were developed in recent decades. This shift brought ski infrastructure to what had been a rural grazing area for centuries.
Local shepherds still graze their animals on the slopes during summer, keeping alive practices that families have followed for generations.
The resort is best visited during winter months from December through April with equipment rentals and lessons available on site. Weather can change quickly and conditions are cold, so proper clothing and preparation are essential for any visit to the mountain.
The mountain sits between Lakes Eğirdir and Kovada, creating weather patterns that generate consistent snow throughout the winter season. This geographical position makes the summit a reliable spot for winter sports in the broader region.
