Lake Beyşehir National Park

Lake Beyşehir National Park encompasses 86,855 hectares of land, featuring Turkey's largest freshwater lake surrounded by Sultan Mountains and Anamas Mountains.

The lake, known as Carallis in ancient Greek times, contains archaeological remains including the Hittite period stone pool monument of Eflatun Pınar.

Local communities near Lake Beyşehir maintain traditional practices, selling regional products like mountain herbs, cheese, and butter from village producers.

Visitors can access the national park via State Highway D.350, with accommodation available in Beyşehir town, located 94 kilometers from Konya city.

The protected area contains thirty-two islands and provides habitat for 153 bird species, 16 freshwater fish species, and 545 plant species.
