Surp Yerrortutyun Armenian Catholic Church

Surp Yerrortutyun is an Armenian Catholic church in Beyoğlu with striking pink-colored walls both inside and outside. The building displays classical architectural features including fluted columns, arches, and detailed reliefs throughout its structure.

The church was built in 1836 replacing earlier wooden structures destroyed by fires in 1762 and 1831 before being acquired by Armenian Catholics in 1857. This reconstruction marked the transition to a permanent stone structure for the Armenian Catholic community.
