West Lake Resortopia, Theme park in Sanyi, Taiwan
West Lake Resortopia extends across 60 hectares, featuring European architecture designs, multiple recreational zones, and extensive landscaped gardens near Dexing Lake.
The park opened in 1989 and underwent modifications to incorporate Hans Christian Andersen themed elements, making it the first such attraction in Asia.
The park integrates Hakka traditions and wood carving artworks throughout its grounds while presenting theatrical performances of classic fairy tales.
Visitors reach the park via taxi from Sanyi Station, with operating hours from 9:00 to 17:00 and admission prices of TWD399 for adults.
During late spring, the park transforms as thousands of white Tung tree flowers cover two-thirds of the grounds, creating patterns across the landscape.
