Cam Lâm

Cam Lâm is a rural district in Khánh Hòa province, covering diverse terrain that includes coastal plains, tidal lagoons, hills, and a shoreline facing the sea. The area sits between Nha Trang and Cam Ranh cities and is crossed by National Road 1A, which connects it to the wider region.

The area was inhabited more than 3,500 years ago, as evidenced by archaeological remains found there. The district took its current administrative form in the early 2000s.

The district comprises fourteen administrative communes where residents maintain traditional agricultural practices and celebrate seasonal festivals throughout the year.

The best time to visit is during the dry months when outdoor conditions are more favorable for exploring. During the rainy season from October to February, expect frequent showers and plan activities accordingly.

The Thuy Trieu Lagoon supports rich wildlife and serves as a crucial habitat for migratory birds and marine life. Bai Dai Beach offers stretches of sand where visitors can experience the quieter side of the coast.
