Thiên Vương Cổ Sát, Buddhist temple in Da Lat, Vietnam
The temple stands on Dragon Hill and features three main Buddha statues carved from agarwood, each measuring 4 meters in height and weighing 1500 kilograms.
Initially constructed in 1958 with wood and iron materials, the temple underwent a substantial reconstruction in 1989, when brick replaced the original building materials.
The temple name honors the Four Heavenly Kings, with their statues flanking a central golden Maitreya Buddha statue in the Tu Bi Shrine section.
Located 1.5 kilometers from Xuan Huong Lake at 385 Khe Sanh Street, the temple receives visitors interested in Buddhist architecture and religious practices.
The main hall contains a mechanical turntable that rotates independently when touched, adding an engineering element to the religious structure.
