French missionaries constructed this religious complex between 1930 and 1943, establishing a center for Catholic nuns of the Mission of Charity in Vietnam.

The three-meter-tall statue of Mary inside the church, created by architect Jonchère in 1943, depicts the holy figure with Vietnamese physical characteristics.

The church compound spans 29.6 acres and includes two convents, with regular services held weekdays at 17:00 and Sundays at 5:45 and 16:30.

The architectural design combines 17th-century French church elements with Vietnamese influences, particularly in its roof structure inspired by Central Highland stilt houses.
