Da Lat Railway Station

This railway station in Đà Lạt is now a museum housed in a historic building with three pyramid-shaped roofs topped with colored glass and a central clock featuring Art Deco design. Inside and around the grounds, you can see vintage trains and carriages that tell the story of rail transport in the region.

French architects designed this building in 1932, and it opened in 1938 as part of a railway line connecting this highland region to other areas. The station became an important link between the city and lowland regions, helping shape the town's development.

The building blends French Art Deco design with architectural elements from highland communal houses, showing how different building traditions merged in this region. Walking through its spaces, you can see how this place once connected different communities.

The museum sits at a higher elevation and can be reached easily on foot from the town center or by a short ride. Wear sturdy shoes since the grounds are uneven and there are steps throughout the property when exploring different areas.
