Chùa Linh Quang

Chùa Linh Quang is a Buddhist temple in Đà Lạt featuring a main building with several interconnected interior spaces and ornamental dragon-adorned copper pillars framing the entrance. The grounds also contain multiple stupas and a concrete statue of Avalokiteshvara that appears to emerge from a decorative dragon structure.

The temple was founded in 1931 by Master Thich Nhan Thu and received royal recognition through an imperial decree from Emperor Bao Dai in 1938. This official acknowledgment reflected the site's growing importance within the region's religious landscape.

The main sanctuary displays a statue of Shakyamuni Buddha seated on a lotus throne, surrounded by Bodhisattva figures and protective deities. You can observe how local devotees interact with these sacred images through daily prayers and offerings.

The temple is located in an accessible area of Đà Lạt and welcomes visitors during regular opening hours. Appropriate dress is expected, particularly when entering the main sanctuary and during religious ceremonies.
